Food Pantry Seeks Protein Items
A few weeks back we sent out a request for breakfast items for the NWACC Food Pantry. As expected, you all were great and response was outstanding. We now have a pretty good supply of breakfast items but are now in need of protein type items. These include peanut butter, dry beans, canned chicken, canned meat, nuts, ravioli, beef -a- roni, etc. Because of generous donations from NWACC employees and students, the NWACC Food Pantry has served over 300 NWACC students and employees this year. The pantry has operated solely on donations and hopes to continue to do so. For more information or to donate contact Becky Hudson at rhudson1@nwacc.edu
All of the 2016-2017 NWACC scholarships have been awarded at this time. We had a record number of qualified applicants, which made awarding this year difficult. Please continue to check the daily announcements and the NWACC Scholarship Resources Facebook page for scholarships available outside the regular award period. The application for the 2017-2018 academic year will be open from December 1st, 2016 through March 1st, 2017.
